Oh yes just read from a concept Artist working for Midway that they really are making Mortal Kombat 9, seeing as this will be the first REAL adaptation to the new gen of consoles i have fairly good hopes, especially with the great new fighters out there (SF4, TEKKEN 6) we can only hope that they really want to rival with these and make something truely great, seeing as they were planning to start all over again after armageddon, I'm looking forward to the "new" scorpion and sub-zero who will be inevidably be around ^^

Even after their serious quality drop after going 3D I'm still quite the fan hehe, cause deep inside, we all love it that ninja's rip people's heads of/spines out/hearts out/souls out/breath fire/spit acid/shoot lasers out of their eyes

Update!

Hope i'll get a decent update soon, i should start doing some more free work but every time i try to do that,

i get the feeling i should do something for school and feel kinda bad for doing stuff for my own hehe, hmm first one was a bound to happen scene ;) I can't think of any other reason why the teacher would let us make a sword. Last painting's still a WIP

Here we go again!

School starts again! Although extremely unhappy with most results, I guess I just have to prove their previous choise was wrong :)

so without further ado, the first assignment is to create a 3D vehicle with only using primitives (most basic 3D objects)

and a random creature's head :)

Hello, a very small update!

first off is a low poly cat (well there are two as you can see in the background but it's both the same cat really)

Second are low poly birds. Very roughly textured as they are meant to be very small so didnt put a lot of detail in them


And lastly a low poly car :)

bad exam

Here's my work from my drawing exam :)

It received horribly bad criticism which are partly due to my teacher telling me my design and stuff was all right.

And when the jury spoke (he was one of them) the other two started to tear it down and he was just sitting there averting his eyes while i was staring at him and didn't say anything.

Felt really ripped off by that. Since i thought i was doing it alright cause noone said me i should change my design

I love the smell off Max Crashes in the morning

You can't Believe how many crashes i had to endure to get a somewhat reasonable result for my 3D exam. I'm far from happy with it as it is. but seeing as i lack the time I decided to keep it as it is.

Don't pay attention to the ropes ( they're the least finished part. stuff missing and all that. I am very happy with the material experiments though





this one reminds me a lot of madworld ^^


and last but not least, my growing annoyance urged me to make this very quickly (so sorry bout the bad quality)

it's an actual screenshot of one of my last save files (every recover stands for 1 crash ;) and look at the time frame between the two files)

Big Bad update ;)

told myself never to post my abominable model-drawings but actually how can one improve if he can't put is work under criticism eh?

so i scoured my "best" (hey atleast it's something;) it's still not that good) drawings in a hope to get some c&c =) ( you'll see unfinished drawings cause i'm slow :p and we always get limited time on drawing one pose)

or maybe i should start making another life-drawing art style called suckyism hehe;) which involves no shading what so ever

also didn't know if i already showed my last superhero versions from a few months ago

and some heads for my next assignment (draw a tribal man and woman)

Some stuff happening these days that i wish i could change, alas i do not have that power so decided not to get involved. Yet i still can't think bout how easy should be to fix it, but that'd be naive thinking I know how everyone works inside )


on the other hand I'm starting to become very grateful of this year, giving me the opportunities that lead me to meet new people whom i love for their way of thinking and doing things. It's very resourceful.
